Bartosz Erland took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zbyszko Rekawiczka. Jeschonowitz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zbyszko Rekawiczka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Henryk in the 12th minute of play. Barnaba Paciuszko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Boguslaw Henryk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszko Rekawiczka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Waclaw Kosiorek kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Sentinels's goalkeeper Damazy Gacki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barnaba Paciuszko. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Tolek Redisz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sentinels's supporters rose to their feet, but Tolek Redisz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbyszko Rekawiczka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Henryk in the 46th minute of play forced Jeschonowitz's goalkeeper Zbyszko Rekawiczka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Boguslaw Henryk came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Sentinels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boguslaw Henryk couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Damazy Gacki came out of the goal and Mariusz Frodyma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
