Marian Ranowiecki's late challenge caught a Cygusy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Ranowiecki helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes CWKS Legia Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Zuraw. Wincenty Podwojski scored 1-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boruc Wierzcholek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Maciej Rzeszutko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boruc Wierzcholek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Sitko, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, CWKS Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Sitko came free, but Boruc Wierzcholek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Zuraw was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CWKS Legia Warszawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cygusy the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Wincenty Podwojski struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Boruc Wierzcholek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cygusy. 55 minutes into the game, Bernard Sitko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Boruc Wierzcholek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 62 minutes into the match, Cygusy's goalkeeper Marian Bielecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugeniusz Zuraw. Wojciech Gamza kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. CWKS Legia Warszawa's Dobromir Cebula couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cygusy. Marian Bielecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Cichocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Marian Bielecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Cichocki in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Wincenty Podwojski notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of CWKS Legia Warszawa's Boruc Wierzcholek. Boruc Wierzcholek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the match, Cygusy's Bernard Sitko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boruc Wierzcholek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bernard Sitko came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Cygusy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Sitko couldn't finish the play. If Bernard Sitko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernard Sitko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Wierzcholek having to interfere. Cygusy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
