The referee gave Straw Hats United a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. If Dobromir Rybak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olaf Balonek's late challenge caught a Straw Hats United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olaf Balonek helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Staszówka getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Olaf Balonek hit a great ball. Straw Hats United's Konstanty Kapelski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Straw Hats United from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Staszówka's Wit Rybak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Konstanty Kapelski. That made the score 1-1 after 27 minutes of play. Staszówka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaroslaw Walentowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Zachariasz Hetman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dobromir Rybak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 59 minute of play. Jaroslaw Walentowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zachariasz Hetman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaroslaw Walentowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roch Zawada during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wit Rybak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Konstanty Kapelski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dobromir Rybak in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zachariasz Hetman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Staszówka defense, Jaroslaw Walentowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zachariasz Hetman. The Staszówka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachariasz Hetman should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Straw Hats United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
