The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Nadzieja Koszuty booed when Naprzód Janów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Budrewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sylwester Pilarczyk, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 8 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Napoleon Maziarski was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Hugon Nakoneczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliks Olszewski having to interfere. Wlodzimierz Raschke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sylwester Pilarczyk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Napoleon Maziarski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Hugon Nakoneczny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naprzód Janów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugon Nakoneczny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute Sylwester Pilarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Maziarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Napoleon Maziarski came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Nadzieja Koszuty's Sylwester Pilarczyk. But to his dismay, Sylwester Pilarczyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gwidon Czysty kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With his leg Feliks Olszewski managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Naprzód Janów's Hugon Nakoneczny fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Hugon Nakoneczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the match, Nadzieja Koszuty's goalkeeper Feliks Olszewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wlodzimierz Raschke. Nadzieja Koszuty's Feliks Olszewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Nadzieja Koszuty from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Nadzieja Koszuty's zone, Wlodzimierz Raschke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliks Olszewski came out of the goal and Wlodzimierz Raschke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hugon Nakoneczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylwester Pilarczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Maziarski having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 52nd match minute, Nadzieja Koszuty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwidon Czysty to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Gwidon Czysty fired away a sharp free kick straight at the goal. It looked like it might be really tough for the goalie to handle, but the shot went into the stands to the left of Napoleon Maziarski. In the 54th minute, Sylwester Pilarczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Nadzieja Koszuty booed when Naprzód Janów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Budrewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wojciech Koprowski kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Nakoneczny in the 65th minute of play forced Nadzieja Koszuty's goalkeeper Feliks Olszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Nadzieja Koszuty's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Nakoneczny came free, but Feliks Olszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, one of Naprzód Janów:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Naprzód Janów. Napoleon Maziarski was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Ludomil Lisewski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ludomil Lisewski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Sylwester Pilarczyk charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sylwester Pilarczyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Sylwester Pilarczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 81 minutes, Sylwester Pilarczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nadzieja Koszuty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylwester Pilarczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dominik Czysty hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Sylwester Pilarczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Maziarski having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Naprzód Janów got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Budrewicz. Tolek Budrewicz's late challenge caught a Nadzieja Koszuty's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tolek Budrewicz helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Naprzód Janów got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Budrewicz. Nadzieja Koszuty's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
