After 8 minutes, Waclaw Wolniewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RTS Widzew Łódź and the Piotraszewo SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind RTS Widzew Łódź's goalkeeper Franciszek Gabis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 10 minutes of play, Piotraszewo SA's Wlodzimierz Pliszka made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franciszek Gabis was left in no man's land by his defense there! RTS Widzew Łódź's Franciszek Gabis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Pliszka in the 14th minute of play. Edmund Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Czeszejko, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Wlodzimierz Pliszka might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franciszek Gabis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wlodzimierz Pliszka ran back to his position shaking his head. Franciszek Gabis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Zawaski in the 22nd minute of play. Wlodzimierz Pliszka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franciszek Gabis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witomir Zawaski in the 25th minute of the match. RTS Widzew Łódź's Andrzej Skwira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edmund Glogowski but with some difficulty. Witomir Zawaski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Franciszek Gabis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wlodzimierz Pliszka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Wlodzimierz Pliszka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piotraszewo SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wlodzimierz Pliszka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Wlodzimierz Pliszka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Franciszek Gabis made a huge save. The RTS Widzew Łódź fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when RTS Widzew Łódź's Zdzislaw Czeszejko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wlodzimierz Pliszka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franciszek Gabis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Zawaski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Witomir Zawaski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franciszek Gabis made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Wlodzimierz Pliszka sent off a good shot on target. Witomir Zawaski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Franciszek Gabis managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Piotraszewo SA's Wlodzimierz Pliszka fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 93rd minute Napoleon Pleban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Wlodzimierz Pliszka came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Piotraszewo SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wlodzimierz Pliszka couldn't finish the play. Franciszek Gabis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witomir Zawaski in the 96th minute of the match. Piotraszewo SA played a much better game than RTS Widzew Łódź and deserved their victory. The RTS Widzew Łódź players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
