When Tymoteusz Rybak came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the FC Ciemnogród fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tymoteusz Rybak couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikolaj Barniszke got free with Jan Buda in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Dominik Prusinowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Płomień Niegowonice's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominik Prusinowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Szczepan Dziewulski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mikolaj Barniszke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Radomir Tomporowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Mieszko Polkoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Dziewulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fryderyk Czerwinski kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Dominik Prusinowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Dziewulski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Prusinowski in the 40th minute of play forced FC Ciemnogród's goalkeeper Szczepan Dziewulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Mieszko Polkoski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Płomień Niegowonice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mieszko Polkoski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Szczepan Dziewulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Prusinowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Mieszko Polkoski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Szczepan Dziewulski was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominik Prusinowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Ignacy Rywin's late challenge caught a Płomień Niegowonice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacy Rywin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Ciemnogród getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ignacy Rywin hit a great ball. Radomir Tomporowski kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Szczepan Dziewulski made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Mieszko Polkoski sent off a good shot on target. Walery Tomporowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Dziewulski having to interfere. When Mikolaj Barniszke came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FC Ciemnogród fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikolaj Barniszke couldn't finish the play. When Lucjan Pliszka fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Płomień Niegowonice's protests and gave Lucjan Pliszka a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Płomień Niegowonice's Lucjan Pliszka got a free kick in the 60th minute. Szczepan Dziewulski was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Mieszko Polkoski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mieszko Polkoski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Mieszko Polkoski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dominik Prusinowski came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Płomień Niegowonice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominik Prusinowski couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Prusinowski in the 81st minute of play forced FC Ciemnogród's goalkeeper Szczepan Dziewulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Szczepan Dziewulski managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Płomień Niegowonice's Mieszko Polkoski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Płomień Niegowonice booed when FC Ciemnogród was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Tomporowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Dominik Prusinowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Dziewulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Płomień Niegowonice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Płomień Niegowonice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
