Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bogdan Zajac got the match started through his kick off. When Arkadiusz Witek came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Lechia Gdańsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arkadiusz Witek couldn't finish the play. Lechia Gdańsk's Hugon Rydzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Zajac in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute Wincent Augustyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Rydzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Zajac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugon Rydzyk having to interfere. A collision led to Lechia Gdańsk getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Kajetan Fetor hit a great ball. Tolek Bartelak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lechia Gdańsk's Arkadiusz Witek got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Roszków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Augustyn to maneuver through the defense. Janusz Kapinos came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Lechia Gdańsk's Arkadiusz Witek. But to his dismay, Arkadiusz Witek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 41 minutes of play, Roszków's Kryspin Tscherner made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugon Rydzyk was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tolek Bartelak to make the kick off. Roszków's Janusz Kapinos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolek Bartelak in the 52nd minute of play. Arkadiusz Witek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Janusz Kapinos made a huge save. When Lechia Gdańsk's Tolek Bartelak in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Roszków's goalie prevented a goal. Arkadiusz Witek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janusz Kapinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Bartelak in the 64th minute of play. Janusz Kapinos made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Arkadiusz Witek sent off a good shot on target. Arkadiusz Witek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Tolek Bartelak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Janusz Kapinos was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Tolek Bartelak might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Janusz Kapinos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tolek Bartelak ran back to his position shaking his head. If Tolek Bartelak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janusz Kapinos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolek Bartelak's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Tolek Bartelak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Kapinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Lechia Gdańsk players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
