Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marian Biraga got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Rafal Jarosz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC KATOWICE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafal Jarosz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kania Gń's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dembowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kania Gń's Bartlomiej Dembowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Biraga in the 10th minute of play. Kania Gń's Hugon Robak pulled a muscle in his back after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Remigiusz Gibowski fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC KATOWICE's protests and gave Remigiusz Gibowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, FC KATOWICE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigiusz Gibowski to maneuver through the defense. Rafal Jarosz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartlomiej Dembowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Biraga in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Marian Biraga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bartlomiej Dembowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bartlomiej Dembowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Biraga went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FC KATOWICE's Herbert Trochowski got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute Marian Biraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartlomiej Dembowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kania Gń players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC KATOWICE were winning 0-2.

Beniamin Kon's late challenge caught a Kania Gń's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beniamin Kon helped the player get up and apologised. Bartlomiej Dembowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Biraga's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 57th match minute, Kania Gń was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Raszkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Rafal Jarosz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartlomiej Dembowski having to interfere. The supporters of Kania Gń booed when FC KATOWICE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigiusz Gibowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lech Ledochowski, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Lucjan Sebzda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 72 minutes, Tadeusz Makarewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC KATOWICE and the Kania Gń players grew even worse after the yellow card. Borys Kendra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Ledochowski in the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Kania Gń got a freekick which was hit by Konstanty Sochacki. In the 75th minute Beniamin Kon managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Bartlomiej Dembowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Biraga in the 77th minute of play. Lucjan Sebzda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Borys Kendra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucjan Sebzda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Kendra having to interfere. Lucjan Sebzda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Borys Kendra having to make a save. Rafal Jarosz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucjan Sebzda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, FC KATOWICE's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Sebzda came free, but Borys Kendra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC KATOWICE had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
