Sporting Giszowiec's players were relieved. The supporters of Charbrow booed when Sporting Giszowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Narbut didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Siedlecki in the 11th minute of play forced Sporting Giszowiec's goalkeeper Szczepan Sochacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maciej Dejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Gniech having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Andrzej Kosakowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Giszowiec and the Charbrow players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Szczepan Sochacki, was totally fooled by Charbrow's Wiktor Harendarski, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Sporting Giszowiec booed when Charbrow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Harendarski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Maciej Dejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zbyszko Gniech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Dejo in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Robert Narbut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Giszowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Narbut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbyszko Gniech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Sporting Giszowiec's Maciej Dejo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zbyszko Gniech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ulryk Cizeski's late challenge caught a Sporting Giszowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulryk Cizeski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Charbrow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Cizeski to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Charbrow's zone, Maciej Dejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszko Gniech came out of the goal and Maciej Dejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyryl Siedlecki made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Sporting Giszowiec's Robert Narbut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zbyszko Gniech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert Narbuts short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Zbyszko Gniech to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 54 minutes into the game, Robert Narbut lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Zbyszko Gniech. 57 minutes into the match, Maciej Dejo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Charbrow's Zbyszko Gniech. Zbyszko Gniech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beniamin Karanewski hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Sporting Giszowiec's Maciej Dejo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Lagiewniki hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Klement Solarek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Szczepan Sochacki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Cyryl Siedlecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Sochacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Charbrow's zone, Maciej Dejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszko Gniech came out of the goal and Maciej Dejo tried to chip the ball over his head. Robert Narbut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zbyszko Gniech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sporting Giszowiec played a much better game than Charbrow and deserved their victory. The Charbrow players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
