Edmund Gizynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaw Jenkot, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Korneliusz Kicia in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ziemowit Mazierz saved Sulmino SA from getting behind. Gustaw Jenkot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Edmund Gizynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sulmino SA booed when WKS Soplica Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Mnich didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Gustaw Jenkot took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edmund Gizynski to make any attempt to save it. In the 41st minute Gustaw Jenkot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Gizynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, WKS Soplica Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Jenkot came free, but Edmund Gizynski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Sobania stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boguslaw Trac during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Jenkot in the 57th minute of play forced WKS Soplica Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Edmund Gizynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ziemowit Mazierz came out of the goal and Korneliusz Kicia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Korneliusz Kicia came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the WKS Soplica Sosnowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korneliusz Kicia couldn't finish the play. Kajetan Makomaski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Gizynski having to interfere. Sulmino SA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
