Wieslaw Moryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryszard Bartoszek having to interfere. Ryszard Bartoszek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wieslaw Moryl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wojciech Huratiak was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Aleksander Wawrukiewicz came out of the goal and Jedrzej Ligas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tymoteusz Zywiec charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Maksymilian Jarek was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
