The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arka Gdynia's Wincent Lamczyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Arka Gdynia from getting a goal against them. Zbyszek Rawa came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Arka Gdynia's Maciej Marek. But to his dismay, Maciej Marek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Radomil Ogrodowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Maciej Marek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Rawa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Maggi Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Napierkowski to maneuver through the defense. Radomil Ogrodowicz's late challenge caught a Maggi Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radomil Ogrodowicz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Arka Gdynia's Radomil Ogrodowicz got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Adam Napierkowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wincent Lamczyk skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Maciej Marek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arka Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maciej Marek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Maggi Club getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Konrad Pilitowski hit a great ball. Bogumil Juszkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Wincent Lamczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Arka Gdynia getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Michal Glaza hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Feliks Witek made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Arka Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Bogumil Juszkowski came free, but Wincent Lamczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radowit Turok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincent Lamczyk having to interfere. Wincent Lamczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Witek in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Michal Glaza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arka Gdynia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maggi Club the free kick. Maciej Marek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Zbyszek Rawa made a huge save. In the 72nd minute Bogumil Juszkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Lamczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogumil Juszkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliks Witek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konrad Pilitowski's late challenge caught a Arka Gdynia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Juszkowski in the 87th minute of play forced Arka Gdynia's goalkeeper Wincent Lamczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Arka Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Michal Glaza. Jan Brodzki kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Feliks Witek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincent Lamczyk having to interfere.
