The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Przemyslaw Jaraczewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Wojciech Chowaniec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 4 minutes, Mieszko Noworolnik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Południowcy Bielsko-Biała's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mieszko Noworolnik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wojciech Chowaniec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Bugajski in the 6th minute of play. Lubogoszcz SSA's Wojciech Chowaniec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Lubogoszcz SSA from getting a goal against them. Wojciech Chowaniec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Jarosz in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Przemyslaw Jaraczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Chowaniec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Przemyslaw Jaraczewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Fabian Jarosz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Południowcy Bielsko-Biała's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Jarosz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wojciech Chowaniec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pawel Bugajski hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Pawel Bugajski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabian Jarosz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kryspin Jaroch's late challenge caught a Lubogoszcz SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kryspin Jaroch helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Południowcy Bielsko-Biała got a freekick which was hit by Kryspin Jaroch. In the 31st minute Mieszko Tarasek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogumil Czerwinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Przemyslaw Jaraczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojciech Chowaniec having to interfere. When Mieszko Noworolnik came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Południowcy Bielsko-Biała fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mieszko Noworolnik couldn't finish the play. Szymon Pachucki kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Fabian Jarosz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wojciech Chowaniec firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 45 minutes, Pawel Bugajski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Południowcy Bielsko-Biała's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pawel Bugajski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mieszko Noworolnik was the one to do the kick off. Lubogoszcz SSA's Wojciech Chowaniec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mieszko Noworolnik in the 51st minute of play. If Mieszko Noworolnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mieszko Noworolnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Lubogoszcz SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Noworolnik came free, but Wojciech Chowaniec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Jarosz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Fabian Jarosz came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Południowcy Bielsko-Biała fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Południowcy Bielsko-Biała booed when Lubogoszcz SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Drapinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Igor Kaznocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lubogoszcz SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Południowcy Bielsko-Biała the free kick. Igor Kaznocha hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Wojciech Chowaniec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mieszko Noworolnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lubogoszcz SSA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Południowcy Bielsko-Biała had controlled the match.
