Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Radomil Pietrowiak came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Russenau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomil Pietrowiak couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radomil Pietrowiak in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mieszko Jestrimski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matthias Zworski charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthias Zworski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Damazy Czarnecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Zbigniew Bronkala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, one of Russenau:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Schönhorst a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Czestobor Gacki, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Russenau's Leon Kapinos. 0-2. If Damazy Czarnecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damazy Czarnecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Racibor Plachetka got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 41 played minutes Schönhorst got a freekick which was hit by Racibor Plachetka. Russenau's Leon Kapinos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerik Ratulowski in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Damazy Czarnecki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Russenau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damazy Czarnecki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Schönhorst were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Zbyszko Brataniec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the game, Russenau's Damazy Czarnecki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mieszko Jestrimski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Gerik Ratulowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Kapinos having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Damazy Czarnecki notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Schönhorst's Mieszko Jestrimski. Mieszko Jestrimski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mieszko Jestrimski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Czarnecki in the 67th minute of play. Damazy Czarnecki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damazy Czarnecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Schönhorst getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Adolf Ruszkowski hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Damazy Czarnecki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Russenau's supporters rose to their feet, but Damazy Czarnecki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mieszko Jestrimski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damazy Czarnecki struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Mieszko Jestrimski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Russenau. After a defensive mix-up in Schönhorst's zone, Damazy Czarnecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mieszko Jestrimski came out of the goal and Damazy Czarnecki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Schönhorst succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Russenau had controlled the match.
