Boruc Gniewek might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lech Zgonina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boruc Gniewek ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute, Boruc Gniewek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute Wit Wawrukiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Zgonina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Holeszów's Antoni Skonieczny got control of the ball when Gilbert Rywin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Holeszów's Wit Wawrukiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
