The audience thought a goal was coming when Napoleon Molski got free with Wiktor Czeberowski in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Gubiny's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Napoleon Molski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Gubiny's Wiktor Czeberowski got control of the ball when Fryderyk Pracki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Napoleon Molski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Wiktor Czeberowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Rumianek SA's goal looked a bit too open when Beniamin Liermann came free, but Olaf Rydzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rumianek SA booed when Gubiny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedykt Raszek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gubiny's Emil Basinski got a free kick in the 28th minute. Norbert Jandryca struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Wiktor Czeberowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rumianek SA. In the 30th minute of the match, Napoleon Molski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wiktor Czeberowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wiktor Czeberowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juliusz Kuszczak's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. When Napoleon Molski came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Rumianek SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Napoleon Molski couldn't finish the play. When Gubiny's Beniamin Liermann in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Gubiny fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pawel Ochabski was the one to do the kick off. Napoleon Molski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Czeberowski having to interfere. Wiktor Czeberowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliusz Kuszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juliusz Kuszczak scored 1-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wiktor Czeberowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Napoleon Molski might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wiktor Czeberowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Napoleon Molski ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Napoleon Molski in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wiktor Czeberowski saved Gubiny from getting behind. After 75 played minutes Gubiny got a freekick which was hit by Emil Basinski. When Pawel Ochabski came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Gubiny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pawel Ochabski couldn't finish the play. After 81 minutes, Miroslaw Mruk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rumianek SA and the Gubiny players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Miroslaw Mruk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Pawel Ochabski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Rydzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pawel Ochabski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Gwidon Laskowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Olaf Rydzyk to make any attempt to save it. Juliusz Kuszczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Wiktor Czeberowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Napoleon Molski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Czeberowski having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gubiny eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
