After a defensive mix-up in Celestyny's zone, Juliusz Kuszczak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Dec came out of the goal and Juliusz Kuszczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Kuszczak in the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Napoleon Molski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumianek SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Napoleon Molski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Dec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the last second Olaf Rydzyk throw himself and got hold of the ball when Stanislaw Glogowski in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Napoleon Molski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Edgar Dec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olaf Rydzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Glogowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antoni Wallach kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Celestyny's Edgar Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Kuszczak in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Celestyny booed when Rumianek SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Rutkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olaf Rydzyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Juliusz Kuszczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Rumianek SA defense, Antoni Wallach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olaf Rydzyk. The Rumianek SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olaf Rydzyk should have stopped the shot.
