Kajetan Kon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cyryl Hludzenski kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Kajetan Kon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boleslaw Sedzikowski in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Hugon Galus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Borys Walczak was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 52 played minutes Mertinsdorf SA got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Augustyn.
