Hieronim Jarosiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacy Maurycy, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 8th of the match, Ignacy Maurycy tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Hieronim Jarosiewicz got in the way and made a wonderful save. Damazy Bury recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steinau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Witankowo the free kick. Steinau's Hieronim Jarosiewicz became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. Zenon Kuszczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Jarosiewicz having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Fabian Bugajski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Witankowo and the Steinau players grew even worse after the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernard Pluciennik charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernard Pluciennik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Steinau got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Pluciennik. In the 72nd minute Zenon Kuszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Jarosiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Rawa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Artur Modliszewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Steinau's zone, Zenon Kuszczak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hieronim Jarosiewicz came out of the goal and Zenon Kuszczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
