The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Borów getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. A very good chance for a goal. 5 minutes into the match, Romaniuki's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Mios came free, but Alfred Olejniczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marek Miarka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Borów booed when Romaniuki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Snaza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Tytus Burdzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borów's supporters rose to their feet, but Tytus Burdzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Olejniczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Marcin Mietus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ksawery Mios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Alfred Olejniczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Witold Misiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marek Miarka to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfred Olejniczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ksawery Mios in the 54th minute. Witomir Bartocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Dankowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witomir Bartocha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61stth minute of the game Witold Misiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borów's Robert Dankowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Witomir Bartocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Dankowski having to interfere. If Witold Misiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witold Misiewicz in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Dankowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marek Miarka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Alfred Olejniczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marek Miarka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Miarka in the 84th minute of play forced Romaniuki's goalkeeper Alfred Olejniczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grzegorz Skaradowski during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Borów's Grzegorz Skaradowski got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Ksawery Mios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Olejniczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 93 minutes, Michal Snaza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romaniuki and the Borów players grew even worse after the yellow card. Michal Snaza kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Romaniuki supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Borów's performance. The match ended with a win for Borów.
