The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Wojcieszów SSA's Gilbert Frankowski got control of the ball when Maciej Nakonieczny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilbert Frankowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bartlomiej Skrzypek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 7th minute, Zbyszek Nowacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Wojcieszów SSA getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Boleslaw Tokarczyk hit a great ball. Maciej Nakonieczny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gilbert Frankowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Dziatkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Piesciuk in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Wojcieszów SSA's Boleslaw Tokarczyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmund Dziatkowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iwo Piesciuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Edmund Dziatkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zbyszek Nowacki's late challenge caught a Wojcieszów SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zbyszek Nowacki helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Wojcieszów SSA booed when Trzaskowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszek Nowacki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Iwo Piesciuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wojcieszów SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwo Piesciuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Dziatkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zbyszek Nowacki was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Wojcieszów SSA booed when Trzaskowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszek Nowacki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maciej Nakonieczny struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gilbert Frankowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trzaskowice. After having played for 47 minutes, Boleslaw Tokarczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wojcieszów SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boleslaw Tokarczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maciej Nakonieczny to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Trzaskowice's Bartlomiej Skrzypek got a free kick in the 55th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Wojcieszów SSA's Janusz Karanowski tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Wojcieszów SSA booed when Trzaskowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Orling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugon Czysty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Dziatkowski having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the match Janusz Karanowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmund Dziatkowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 65 played minutes Trzaskowice got a freekick which was hit by Boguslaw Kosmatka. Bartlomiej Skrzypek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gilbert Frankowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maciej Nakonieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Frankowski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Piesciuk in the 80th minute of play forced Trzaskowice's goalkeeper Edmund Dziatkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Iwo Piesciuk fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edmund Dziatkowski, passed just outside the right post. Edmund Dziatkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Piesciuk in the 85th minute of play. Edmund Dziatkowski made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Boleslaw Tokarczyk sent off a good shot on target. Iwo Piesciuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Dziatkowski having to interfere. With his leg Edmund Dziatkowski managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Wojcieszów SSA's Boleslaw Tokarczyk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Trzaskowice support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
