Jan Franzik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Bykowski having to interfere. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jelcz SSA's goalkeeper Tadeusz Bykowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Jelcz SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Franzik came free, but Tadeusz Bykowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwo Wos charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iwo Wos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mieszko Ankiewicz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herbert Makomaski. Babie SSA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 23 played minutes, Babie SSA's Hieronim Loncki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tadeusz Bykowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Babie SSA reached it. Adam Panikowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Bykowski having to interfere. Lech Kanczuszewski hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Tadeusz Bykowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Borczak in the 32nd minute of the match. Artur Absolwent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Herbert Makomaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Babie SSA getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Iwo Wos hit a great ball. When Jelcz SSA's Radomil Fudalej, in the 40th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Jelcz SSA. Radomil Fudalej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Herbert Makomaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Radomil Fudalej got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radomil Fudalej in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Makomaski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herbert Makomaski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Fudalej in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Jelcz SSA getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kryspin Winszman hit a great ball. Jelcz SSA's Tadeusz Bykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Franzik in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Borczak during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Babie SSA getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Waldemar Borczak hit a great ball. The supporters of Babie SSA booed when Jelcz SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Tarka didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Babie SSA's Jan Franzik in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tadeusz Bykowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Jelcz SSA's Wladyslaw Drozdowski got a free kick in the 76th minute. Adam Panikowski struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Tadeusz Bykowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babie SSA. If Adam Panikowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Babie SSA played a much better game than Jelcz SSA and deserved their victory. The Jelcz SSA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
