Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Opoczno's Szczepan Motowski in the 4th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Pankracy Bielejewski was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Chruszczówka through an amazing save. Chruszczówka's Zygmunt Jaraczeski suffered a concussion in the 6th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Szczepan Motowski charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Szczepan Motowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Opoczno got a freekick which was hit by Szczepan Motowski. If Tomasz Jeziorkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Tomasz Jeziorkowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland Spychalski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Opoczno booed when Chruszczówka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Jaraczewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wincent Gecionis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Pankracy Bielejewski made a huge save. Pankracy Pluciennik kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Pankracy Bielejewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Szczepan Motowski's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomasz Jeziorkowski to strike the kick off in the second half.
