If Arkadiusz Niedzwiecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kosowice SA booed when Olszanki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Faron didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Olszanki defense, Kajetan Wisniewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliks Penczkowski. The Olszanki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliks Penczkowski should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Zielinski in the 19th minute of play forced Kosowice SA's goalkeeper Edmund Smolarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Kosowice SA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arkadiusz Niedzwiecki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 24th minute, Arkadiusz Niedzwiecki made a precise shot to the right of Edmund Smolarek. Kosowice SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Wawrzyniec Iwanowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliks Penczkowski. Olszanki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wawrzyniec Iwanowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Wawrzyniec Iwanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliks Penczkowski having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Olszanki's zone, Kajetan Wisniewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliks Penczkowski came out of the goal and Kajetan Wisniewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmund Smolarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Zielinski in the 41st minute of play. Edmund Smolarek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arkadiusz Niedzwiecki in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Arkadiusz Niedzwiecki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmund Smolarek was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Wawrzyniec Iwanowski made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Kosowice SA's Wawrzyniec Iwanowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliks Penczkowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sylwester Buda's late challenge caught a Kosowice SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylwester Buda helped the player get up and apologised. Kajetan Wisniewski struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Feliks Penczkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kosowice SA. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kosowice SA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Olszanki. Sylwester Buda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edmund Smolarek. 3-2. If Arkadiusz Niedzwiecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliks Penczkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kajetan Wisniewski in the 85th minute. Ziemowit Zielinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Edmund Smolarek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kosowice SA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
