Marian Krzynowek charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ludomir Bugajski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Edmund Smolarek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Kryspin Banaszak came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ludomki SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kryspin Banaszak couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Kosowice SA's Edmund Smolarek got control of the ball when Ludomir Bugajski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kryspin Banaszak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Witomir Maruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kryspin Banaszak in the 30th minute of play forced Kosowice SA's goalkeeper Edmund Smolarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Kryspin Banaszak made the kick off in the second half. Edmund Smolarek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomir Bugajski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomir Bugajski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Smolarek having to interfere. Wawrzyniec Iwanowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Zbigniew Zembrzuski made a huge save.
