Kazimierz Domin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Fink in the 11th minute of play. If Olaf Dziedelonis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Polomie's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Fink came free, but Kazimierz Domin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Görbersdorf SSA's Lucjan Misiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Görbersdorf SSA from getting a goal against them. Olaf Dziedelonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olaf Dziedelonis got free with Lucjan Misiewicz in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zachary Hodyl kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Görbersdorf SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Fink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kazimierz Domin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olgierd Gecionis during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucjan Misiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Czerny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Waldemar Piechna had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Wieslaw Dziuma fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polomie's protests and gave Wieslaw Dziuma a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Polomie getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Wieslaw Dziuma hit a great ball. Wladyslaw Czerny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Misiewicz having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerzy Fink to make the kick off. Jerzy Fink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kazimierz Domin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wieslaw Dziuma kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Olaf Dziedelonis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucjan Misiewicz. Görbersdorf SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olaf Dziedelonis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Wladyslaw Czerny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norbert Walkowski's late challenge caught a Polomie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norbert Walkowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute Olaf Dziedelonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Misiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolek Puzio's late challenge caught a Polomie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tolek Puzio helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Görbersdorf SSA got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Puzio. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Görbersdorf SSA's goalkeeper Lucjan Misiewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Görbersdorf SSA's zone, Olaf Dziedelonis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Misiewicz came out of the goal and Olaf Dziedelonis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Polomie had won after a very even match.
