Andrzej Skrzypiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Kolba in the 6th minute of the match. Klement Kolba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrzej Skrzypiec having to interfere. Olgierd Glozor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Podwojski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomil Mietus got free with Olgierd Glozor in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olgierd Glozor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludomil Mietus in the 19th minute. If Ludomil Mietus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Wierzbka SSA's zone, Ludomir Teofila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrzej Skrzypiec came out of the goal and Ludomir Teofila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ludomir Teofila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrzej Skrzypiec was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Andrzej Skrzypiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Teofila, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wierzbka SSA's goalkeeper Andrzej Skrzypiec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tymoteusz Nalaskowski kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Olgierd Glozor was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arkadiusz Prusek. The crowd rose to their feet as Radomir Barniszke kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olgierd Glozor. That made the score 1-0 in the 44 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florian Podwojski to strike the kick off in the second half. Arkadiusz Prusek was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Ludomil Mietus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Podwojski in the 58th minute of play forced Cerkiewnik's goalkeeper Olgierd Glozor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Arkadiusz Prusek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wierzbka SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerkiewnik the free kick. Wierzbka SSA:s Andrzej Skrzypiec showed great skill when he stopped Zdzislaw Figlewski:s penalty. Ludomir Teofila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Andrzej Skrzypiec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludomil Mietus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olgierd Glozor having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Wierzbka SSA's Ludomil Mietus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olgierd Glozor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Radomir Barniszke's late challenge caught a Cerkiewnik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radomir Barniszke helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Wierzbka SSA got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Barniszke. Ludomil Mietus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Olgierd Glozor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludomil Mietus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wierzbka SSA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cerkiewnik had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
