The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Thiergart SSA's Bogdan Rawa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Cyprian Mirowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zygmunt Brataniec having to make a save. Emil Gieraltowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Zygmunt Brataniec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliusz Kowalski kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Emil Gieraltowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zygmunt Brataniec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tobiasz Karp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Kostrzewa in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Izydor Napierkowski in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zygmunt Brataniec saved Thiergart SSA from getting behind. Tobiasz Karp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Rawa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izydor Napierkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zygmunt Brataniec having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Thiergart SSA's Wincent Burowski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Kopanina SSA were awarded a corner. Zula Majkowski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Kopanina SSA's Zula Majkowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Zygmunt Brataniec despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Izydor Napierkowski made a kick off. Jacek Lepucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Zygmunt Brataniec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kopanina SSA's zone, Bernard Kostrzewa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobiasz Karp came out of the goal and Bernard Kostrzewa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernard Kostrzewa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zygmunt Brataniec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Napierkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Thiergart SSA booed when Kopanina SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Izydor Napierkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emil Gieraltowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiergart SSA's Zygmunt Brataniec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Napierkowski in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Thiergart SSA got a freekick which was hit by Aureliusz Kowalski. Izydor Napierkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zygmunt Brataniec having to interfere. After 89th play minutes Izydor Napierkowski shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Zygmunt Brataniec and just under the crossbar into goal. 93 minutes into the match, Kopanina SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Rawa came free, but Tobiasz Karp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Gieraltowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Zygmunt Brataniec made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kopanina SSA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
