When Wasyl Mockiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Bruss SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wasyl Mockiewicz couldn't finish the play. Wasyl Mockiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ryszard Piechna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bruss SA getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Boguslaw Furlit hit a great ball. Zbyszek Kasprzykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Zdziary SA's Bernard Winszman got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Bruss SA's Zbyszko Siedlecki in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zdziary SA's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Zdziary SA's Franciszek Erland got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Cyprian Sawicki fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bruss SA's protests and gave Cyprian Sawicki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Cyprian Sawicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Zdziary SA fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Zdziary SA's Roman Dranka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 38 minutes of play, Zdziary SA's Zbyszek Kasprzykowski made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jurand Budarz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Zdziary SA getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tanek Seliga hit a great ball. Zbyszko Siedlecki struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ryszard Piechna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruss SA. Wasyl Mockiewicz took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ryszard Piechna. Ryszard Piechna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zbyszko Siedlecki to strike the kick off in the second half. Zbyszko Siedlecki scored 2-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ryszard Piechna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Bruss SA booed when Zdziary SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Sienkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Wasyl Mockiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryszard Piechna. Zdziary SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wasyl Mockiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Ryszard Piechna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wasyl Mockiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Wasyl Mockiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ryszard Piechna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Zbyszko Siedlecki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Ryszard Piechna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Wasyl Mockiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bruss SA's goalkeeper Jurand Budarz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zbyszek Kasprzykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Roman Dranka fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jurand Budarz, passed just outside the right post. In the 94th minute Roman Dranka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurand Budarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Cyprian Sawicki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruss SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyprian Sawicki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryszard Piechna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bruss SA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zdziary SA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
