Grzegorz Rydzyk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Iwo Dres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Bogdan Wierzchowski fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woryty's protests and gave Bogdan Wierzchowski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Woryty getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Bogdan Wierzchowski hit a great ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Korneliusz Sienkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tobjasze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Korneliusz Sienkiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
