The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Janusz Byczewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucjan Mierzejewski scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fryderyk Basinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Grondy booed when Tury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Owsiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Grondy's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Byczewski came free, but Fryderyk Basinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, Tury's Janusz Byczewski made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fryderyk Basinski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robert Ludwa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Grondy booed when Tury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Owsiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanek Ruzicki was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Wiktor Marosz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Tobiasz Jakisz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olgierd Ramzinski went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olgierd Ramzinski made a kick off. Fryderyk Basinski was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Lucjan Mierzejewski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucjan Mierzejewski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 60th minute Lucjan Mierzejewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Basinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Ramzinski in the 65th minute of play forced Tury's goalkeeper Tobiasz Jakisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Janusz Byczewski sped through Grondy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fryderyk Basinski. Tobiasz Jakisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Ramzinski in the 73rd minute of play. Tobiasz Jakisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Ramzinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Grondy's Fryderyk Basinski got control of the ball when Janusz Byczewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jurand Zdrojowy charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurand Zdrojowy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Grondy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurand Zdrojowy to maneuver through the defense. If Lucjan Mierzejewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tury booed when Grondy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Petrasz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucjan Mierzejewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Robert Ludwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Robert Ludwa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
