In the 11th minute, Witalis Buczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jacek Kordalewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ksawery Chuchro was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. If Miromir Raflewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jacek Kordalewski sped through Poraj SSA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ksawery Chuchro. If Witalis Buczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miromir Raflewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Parajewski having to interfere. A collision led to Karczary getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jaroslaw Milan hit a great ball. When Zenon Nieuzyla came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Poraj SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zenon Nieuzyla couldn't finish the play. Karczary's Jacek Kordalewski got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miromir Raflewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Eugeniusz Parajewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
