Eugeniusz Bobrowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Napoleon Wydrych's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Grzegorz Kempski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Göttschendorf SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grabie SA the free kick. A collision led to Göttschendorf SA getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Grzegorz Kempski hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Napoleon Wydrych's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugeniusz Bobrowski was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Napoleon Wydrych sped through Göttschendorf SA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugeniusz Bobrowski. After 21 played minutes Grabie SA got a freekick which was hit by Tymoteusz Pieknik. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariusz Sedzikowski in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cyryl Kempka saved Grabie SA from getting behind. In the 24th match minute, Grabie SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Lewkowicz to maneuver through the defense. Cyryl Kempka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Sedzikowski in the 26th minute of play. Eugeniusz Bobrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Wydrych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Roland Pliszka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Grabie SA's Roland Pliszka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugeniusz Bobrowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Grabie SA booed when Göttschendorf SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fryderyk Setara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Napoleon Wydrych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Bobrowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Napoleon Wydrych got free with Eugeniusz Bobrowski in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Grabie SA's Zdzislaw Lewandowski got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Göttschendorf SA's Mariusz Poling tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cyryl Kempka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariusz Sedzikowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cyryl Kempka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Blicharz in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Mariusz Sedzikowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Kempka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Napoleon Wydrych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariusz Sedzikowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cyryl Kempka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyryl Kempka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Blicharz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Tymoteusz Pieknik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Göttschendorf SA's Mariusz Sedzikowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cyryl Kempka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 96 minutes, Tanek Blicharz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göttschendorf SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanek Blicharz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Grabie SA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
