Gostomko's Sylwester Marchefka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwo Gotfryd in the 9th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Iwo Gotfryd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gostomko's Sylwester Marchefka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wasyl Mis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kajetan Raszek, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Stanislaw Bulkiewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Witowice SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gostomko the free kick. A collision led to Witowice SSA getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Stanislaw Bulkiewicz hit a great ball. Sylwester Marchefka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdzislaw Cieliczka in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Kajetan Raszek notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Witowice SSA's Wasyl Mis. Wasyl Mis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kajetan Raszek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasyl Mis having to interfere. Iwo Gotfryd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Marchefka having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Zdzislaw Cieliczka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Witowice SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Zdzislaw Cieliczka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylwester Marchefka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iwo Gotfryd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sylwester Marchefka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iwo Gotfryd to make the kick off. If Kajetan Raszek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iwo Lato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Wasyl Mis made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Witowice SSA's zone, Kajetan Raszek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wasyl Mis came out of the goal and Kajetan Raszek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the game, Iwo Gotfryd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sylwester Marchefka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sylwester Marchefka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zdzislaw Cieliczka went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute, Napoleon Glaza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wasyl Mis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincent Mirowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Stanislaw Bulkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwo Gotfryd in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylwester Marchefka saved Gostomko from getting behind. Iwo Lato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Raszek in the 81st minute of play forced Witowice SSA's goalkeeper Wasyl Mis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwo Lato took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wasyl Mis. Wasyl Mis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Iwo Gotfryd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Witowice SSA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
