KS seba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliusz Niemojewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Aureliusz Niemojewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS seba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Rydzyk in the 40th minute of play forced Tarnobrzeg's goalkeeper Marian Marut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Marut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukasz Rydzyk's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 45th match minute, KS seba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Zajonc to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Aureliusz Niemojewski's late challenge caught a Tarnobrzeg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliusz Niemojewski helped the player get up and apologised.
