In the 22nd minute Cyryl Tarasek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Hajto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Brzezie SA's Barnaba Kaczucha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dawid Kaczucha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Niebieskie Katowice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Brzezie SA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Niebieskie Katowice were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barnaba Kaczucha to make the kick off. A collision led to Niebieskie Katowice getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Radomil Dabrowski hit a great ball. Edgar Hajto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Tarasek in the 60th minute of play. Edgar Hajto was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Radowit Mierzejewski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Radowit Mierzejewski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. 69 minutes into the match, Niebieskie Katowice's Radowit Mierzejewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Hajto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Brzezie SA defense, Radowit Mierzejewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Hajto. The Brzezie SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Hajto should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Cyryl Tarasek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niebieskie Katowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyryl Tarasek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Hajto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herbert Chrobak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Brzezie SA got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Pluciennik. The Niebieskie Katowice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Niebieskie Katowice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
