The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Malik in the 13th minute of play forced Bartheln's goalkeeper Bogdan Marczyniec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Rzegotka's late challenge caught a Wicherek Tomkowa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Rzegotka helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Adam Rzegotka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Bartheln's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Boguslaw Kordalewski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 25 minutes into the match, Bartheln's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Malik came free, but Bogdan Marczyniec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 29 in the game by Boguslaw Kordalewski from a close distance when the talented Bogdan Marczyniec managed to make a qualified save. Bartheln's players were relieved. Boguslaw Kordalewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Bogdan Marczyniec made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Olaf Malik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Marczyniec was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Olaf Malik notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Bartheln's Bogdan Marczyniec. Bogdan Marczyniec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the game, Olaf Malik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bogdan Marczyniec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Wicherek Tomkowa's Boguslaw Kordalewski got a free kick in the 71st minute. Bogdan Marczyniec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Malik, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Wicherek Tomkowa booed when Bartheln was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Rydzyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Boguslaw Kordalewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wicherek Tomkowa's supporters rose to their feet, but Boguslaw Kordalewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Marczyniec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boguslaw Kordalewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Bogdan Marczyniec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wicherek Tomkowa had played much better football throughout.
