The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Patryk Pryla fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarnowice's protests and gave Patryk Pryla a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC GRZYBY booed when Tarnowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Pryla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Tarnowice booed when FC GRZYBY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenon Walicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zenon Walicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Cwojdak having to interfere. Sylwester Fronczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kryspin Cwojdak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sylwester Fronczak ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute, Sylwester Fronczak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kryspin Cwojdak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tarnowice's Kryspin Cwojdak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Fronczak in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Fronczak in the 28th minute of play forced Tarnowice's goalkeeper Kryspin Cwojdak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Arnista might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kryspin Cwojdak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Arnista ran back to his position shaking his head. If Benedykt Podwojski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Arnista struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Kryspin Cwojdak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC GRZYBY. If Sylwester Fronczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half FC GRZYBY were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kryspin Cwojdak came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC GRZYBY's Zenon Walicki. But to his dismay, Zenon Walicki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Tarnowice getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Patryk Pryla hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tarnowice's zone, Sylwester Fronczak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kryspin Cwojdak came out of the goal and Sylwester Fronczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sylwester Fronczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Kryspin Cwojdak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Tarnowice's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Arnista came free, but Kryspin Cwojdak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damazy Scislowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Mosiniak in the 67th minute of the match. Sylwester Fronczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Benedykt Podwojski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kryspin Cwojdak, 0-3. FC GRZYBY's attentive Benedykt Podwojski managed to snatch the ball when Adam Mentus made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. Kryspin Cwojdak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Fronczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, FC GRZYBY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Walicki to maneuver through the defense. Damian Mosiniak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarnowice's Kryspin Cwojdak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Arnista in the 88th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Benedykt Podwojski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. FC GRZYBY's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
