The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernard Sebzda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wlodzimierz Penkalski having to interfere. After 7 minutes, Fryderyk Kaszubowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaczew SA and the Kosina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Fryderyk Kaszubowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Bernard Sebzda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wlodzimierz Penkalski was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 12th minute, Zachariasz Bycofski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Bernard Sebzda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wlodzimierz Penkalski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaczew SA. Gilbert Olejaszs short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Zbyszek Szkaradek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 40 minutes into the game, Jaczew SA's Zachariasz Bycofski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wlodzimierz Penkalski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Jaczew SA's Bernard Sebzda in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kosina's goalie prevented a goal.

Wlodzimierz Penkalski made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Zachariasz Bycofski sent off a good shot on target. In the 70thth minute of the game Bernard Sebzda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kosina's Wlodzimierz Penkalski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Janusz Szpakowski hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Gilbert Olejasz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszek Szkaradek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Kosina's Lech Rzeszutek suffered a concussion in the 75th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. During the 75th minute of the match Fryderyk Kaszubowski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fryderyk Kaszubowski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 76 played minutes Jaczew SA got a freekick which was hit by Fryderyk Kaszubowski. Zachariasz Bycofski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Jaczew SA got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Wos. When the match was over Jaczew SA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kosina throughout the match.
