Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Pardo started the match with the kick off. Hector Covarrubias charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Covarrubias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Paraguay's Jaime Pardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sorin Deliman. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Santul FC defense, Hector Covarrubias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sorin Deliman. The Santul FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sorin Deliman should have stopped the shot. Maxim Lupoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Maxim Lupoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Santul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Panaite didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Covarrubias got free with Sorin Deliman in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Santul FC's Sorin Deliman. Sorin Deliman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

After 51 played minutes Santul FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Jurcuț. Eugen Jurcuț's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugen Jurcuț helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Eugen Jurcuț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xavier Zoido kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Maxim Lupoi took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Jacobo Nores to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Luca Scripcaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Luca Scripcaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maxim Lupoi's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Maxim Lupoi hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Sorin Deliman. Santul FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in Santul FC's zone, Hector Covarrubias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sorin Deliman came out of the goal and Hector Covarrubias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Covarrubias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sorin Deliman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paraguay fully deserved thier win.
