The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cezary Piczak struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Eugeniusz Joks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Witkówka. Feliks Rekowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliks Rekowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Eugeniusz Joks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Witkówka's Fryderyk Paraszczuk in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cezary Piczak's late challenge caught a Zalesiany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezary Piczak helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Zalesiany booed when Witkówka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Piczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ludomil Dziura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30th play minutes Fryderyk Paraszczuk shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Eugeniusz Joks and just under the crossbar into goal. Eugeniusz Joks was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Radomir Trac. If Feliks Rekowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Witkówka's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Bendyk came free, but Mikolaj Borczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Fryderyk Paraszczuk made the kick off in the second half. Ludomil Dziura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Zalesiany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Witkówka the free kick. The supporters of Witkówka booed when Zalesiany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomil Dziura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wlodzimierz Rakiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wlodzimierz Rakiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eugeniusz Joks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Rekowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witkówka's Feliks Rekowski got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zalesiany's Eugeniusz Joks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fryderyk Paraszczuk in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Feliks Rekowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Witkówka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Eugeniusz Joks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Rekowski in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Zalesiany's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Paraszczuk came free, but Eugeniusz Joks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
