Bernard Pisarczyk scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sylwester Mios, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kajetan Wrzosek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Mios having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszko Skaradoski in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignacy Chazon saved Korfantów from getting behind. The supporters of Mechelinki SSA booed when Korfantów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leszek Turok didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacy Chazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Skaradoski, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Feliks Pisarczyk notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Korfantów's Ignacy Chazon. Ignacy Chazon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ignacy Chazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliks Pisarczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The supporters of Mechelinki SSA booed when Korfantów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Kasperowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Feliks Pisarczyk put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ignacy Chazon. Korfantów's Kajetan Wrzosek got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kajetan Wrzosek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sylwester Mios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eugeniusz Ziemba came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Mechelinki SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugeniusz Ziemba couldn't finish the play. If Bernard Pisarczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Zbyszko Skaradoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sylwester Mios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Wrzosek in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Korfantów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Marczyniec to maneuver through the defense. The Mechelinki SSA fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Mechelinki SSA's Feliks Pisarczyk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mechelinki SSA's Feliks Pisarczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Feliks Pisarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Chazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Bernard Pisarczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ignacy Chazon made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Zbyszko Skaradoski sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Zbyszko Skaradoski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mechelinki SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. When Feliks Pisarczyk came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Mechelinki SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliks Pisarczyk couldn't finish the play. Sylwester Mios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajetan Wrzosek in the 93rd minute of play.
