After a rather tough play, Janina SSA's Zbigniew Gregorczyk got a free kick in the 5th minute. Maksymilian Jurgiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Bienienda, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Kiszkiel in the 22nd minute of play forced Thurowen's goalkeeper Maksymilian Jurgiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Thurowen's Konrad Furgal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franciszek Tychy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Janina SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Ruzicki to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match Leonard Pilipiec sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franciszek Tychy skillfully saved the ball. In the 30th minute, Wit Kiszkiel made a precise shot to the right of Maksymilian Jurgiel. Thurowen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 33rd match minute, Janina SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krzysztof Bienienda to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Krzysztof Bienienda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Janina SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Krzysztof Bienienda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maksymilian Jurgiel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Krzysztof Bienienda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Janina SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Krzysztof Bienienda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maksymilian Jurgiel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krzysztof Bienienda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maksymilian Jurgiel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wit Kiszkiel's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wit Kiszkiel to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Konrad Furgal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krzysztof Bienienda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Janina SSA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Maksymilian Jurgiel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wit Kiszkiel's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. If Krzysztof Bienienda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krzysztof Bienienda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maksymilian Jurgiel having to interfere. Krzysztof Bienienda struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Maksymilian Jurgiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Janina SSA. Maksymilian Jurgiel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wit Kiszkiel's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Konrad Furgal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Franciszek Tychy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maksymilian Jurgiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Kiszkiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 85th minute, Fryderyk Pilarski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wit Kiszkiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Janina SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Bartocha came free, but Franciszek Tychy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Janina SSA getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Fryderyk Pilarski hit a great ball. Janina SSA played a much better game than Thurowen and deserved their victory. The Thurowen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
