In the 4th minute, one of Policzyzna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Policzyzna. Lucjan Bryk shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Alfred Bucyki came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Zeysen SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Bucyki couldn't finish the play. Alfred Bucyki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Edgar Dobilas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeysen SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Dobilas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrzej Imbor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Hugon Turacki fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zeysen SSA's protests and gave Hugon Turacki a yellow card for diving instead. Igor Jarosz had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Zbyszek Majerowicz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Zbyszek Majerowicz scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Jarosz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Zeysen SSA's zone, Sylwester Zworski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Jarosz came out of the goal and Sylwester Zworski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Jarosz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hieronim Mochowak's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Alfred Bucyki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Bucyki in the 39th minute of play forced Policzyzna's goalkeeper Andrzej Imbor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrzej Imbor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Bucyki in the 42nd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute Andrzej Biegun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrzej Imbor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrzej Imbor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrzej Biegun's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Andrzej Biegun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfred Bucyki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrzej Imbor having to make a save. 61 minutes into the game, Zeysen SSA's Alfred Bucyki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrzej Imbor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Alfred Bucyki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrzej Imbor was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Policzyzna's Andrzej Imbor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Bucyki in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Hieronim Mochowak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Policzyzna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hieronim Mochowak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zeysen SSA's goalkeeper Igor Jarosz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Sylwester Zworski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Policzyzna's Hieronim Mochowak got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Zeysen SSA got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Tyszka. 97 minutes into the match, Policzyzna's Sylwester Zworski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Jarosz narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
