An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Oborski in the 14th minute of play forced Niwiska SSA's goalkeeper Roch Kluska to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witold Siedlecki ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute, Witold Siedlecki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Niwiska SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Witold Siedlecki came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Niwiska SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witold Siedlecki couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Dobromir Bondel came out of the goal and Witold Siedlecki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, Witold Siedlecki lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Dobromir Bondel. After having played for 94 minutes, Jurand Walczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gartenberg SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jurand Walczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 98 minutes, Witold Siedlecki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niwiska SSA and the Gartenberg SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 98 played minutes Niwiska SSA got a freekick which was hit by Witold Siedlecki. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Niwiska SSA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
