The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gwidon Leper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Kryspin Lichucki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kryspin Lichucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Mochowak in the 5th minute of the match. Gwidon Andrzejewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucjan Juroszek's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariusz Damaski during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC OLIMPIA getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mariusz Damaski hit a great ball. When Tolek Mochowak came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the FC OLIMPIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolek Mochowak couldn't finish the play. When FC OLIMPIA's Tolek Mochowak in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ceranów SA's goalie prevented a goal. Gwidon Leper blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kryspin Lichucki having to make a save. Kryspin Lichucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Leper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Leper in the 27th minute of play forced Ceranów SA's goalkeeper Kryspin Lichucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilbert Sanocki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gwidon Andrzejewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariusz Damaski hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. When Gilbert Sanocki came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ceranów SA fans jumped to their feet. Gilbert Sanocki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tolek Mochowak to make the kick off. Kryspin Lichucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Mochowak in the 52nd minute of the match. Gwidon Leper was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. FC OLIMPIA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Wawrzyniec Trynda fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC OLIMPIA's protests and gave Wawrzyniec Trynda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, FC OLIMPIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Trynda to maneuver through the defense. Ceranów SA's Kryspin Lichucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolek Mochowak in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Lucjan Juroszek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute Lucjan Juroszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Andrzejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zula Balonek hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ceranów SA's Kryspin Lichucki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Ceranów SA from getting a goal against them. If Tolek Mochowak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Ceranów SA's goalkeeper Kryspin Lichucki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gwidon Leper. Gwidon Leper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kryspin Lichucki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kryspin Lichucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Mochowak in the 89th minute of play. Dominik Pincoski kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gwidon Leper managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC OLIMPIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwidon Leper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kryspin Lichucki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ceranów SA's zone, Gwidon Leper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kryspin Lichucki came out of the goal and Gwidon Leper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolek Mochowak in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kryspin Lichucki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 96 minutes, Gwidon Leper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC OLIMPIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwidon Leper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
