The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kryspin Harendarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Leon Zbydniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Boleslaw Wydrych mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lewkowiec SSA and the Popielarnia SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Boleslaw Wydrych hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zachariasz Blicharz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kryspin Harendarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stasio Ryback fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Zbydniewski having to interfere. Teofil Sobczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damazy Setara's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Stasio Ryback received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Leon Zbydniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofil Sobczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariasz Blicharz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Stasio Ryback had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariasz Blicharz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Damazy Setara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofil Sobczak having to interfere. Stasio Ryback's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Zbydniewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Roch Gerlach took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leon Zbydniewski. Popielarnia SA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Kryspin Harendarski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lewkowiec SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Popielarnia SA the free kick. Kryspin Harendarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stasio Ryback had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lewkowiec SSA's Teofil Sobczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachariasz Blicharz in the 77th minute of play. Boleslaw Wydrych kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Lewkowiec SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariasz Blicharz came free, but Teofil Sobczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariasz Blicharz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Teofil Sobczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lewkowiec SSA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Borys Glembin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Teofil Sobczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachariasz Blicharz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Glapiak in the 91st minute of play forced Popielarnia SA's goalkeeper Leon Zbydniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lewkowiec SSA's Kryspin Harendarski got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Popielarnia SA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Popielarnia SA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
