With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Rostow prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edward Rostow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslaw Glapiak in the 27th minute of play. Lech Kaczanka was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Maciej Glembin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maciej Glembin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Lech Kaczanka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piotr Pilipiec went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 42nd match minute, Mukrz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Walaszkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Bartosze's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Brack came free, but Edward Rostow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maciej Glembin was the one to do the kick off. If Miroslaw Glapiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miroslaw Glapiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Rostow having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Slawomir Brack got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Barnaba Kornecki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bartosze's supporters rose to their feet, but Barnaba Kornecki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lech Kaczanka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miroslaw Glapiak got free with Edward Rostow in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Bartosze's zone, Slawomir Brack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Rostow came out of the goal and Slawomir Brack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute of the match, Miroslaw Glapiak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edward Rostow was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 78 minutes, Slawomir Brack managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mukrz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slawomir Brack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Olgierd Kilar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bartosze's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mukrz the free kick. Olgierd Kilar kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Mukrz's Roman Galus couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bartosze. Edward Rostow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slawomir Brack, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Edward Rostow made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Miroslaw Glapiak sent off a good shot on target. Piotr Pilipiec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Kaczanka having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play Mukrz's Zenon Walaszkiewicz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes into the game, one of Mukrz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bartosze's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
