After a rather tough play, Smykówko SSA's Miroslaw Cichowski got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Juliusz Setara took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Iwan Cielencki to make any attempt to save it. Tanek Kochniarczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Iwan Cielencki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iwan Cielencki made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Tanek Kochniarczyk sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herbert Wejta to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Herbert Wejta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smykówko SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Wejta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Basaik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krzysztof Pyrzyce took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iwan Cielencki. Smykówko SSA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Basaik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Wejta in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Gaje SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boguslaw Kopacz to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Basaik had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Iwan Loncki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Iwan Loncki took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Basaik. Daniel Basaik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
