The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Lucjan Kolano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Walaszkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Rafal Brytka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adam Wielgopolski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Witalis Nuszkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Wielgopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafal Brytka, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Feliks Smolarek charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliks Smolarek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Feliks Smolarek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szymon Szpakowski's late challenge caught a Fabjanki SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Szymon Szpakowski helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dominiczyn fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Pankracy Andryszyn walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 26 minutes into the match, Dominiczyn's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Brytka came free, but Adam Wielgopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominik Siedlecki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Marek Walaszkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Witalis Nuszkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marek Walaszkiewicz made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Dominik Siedlecki sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominik Siedlecki got free with Marek Walaszkiewicz in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Fabjanki SSA getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jedrzej Walczyk hit a great ball. Fabjanki SSA's Witalis Nuszkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafal Brytka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When Lucjan Kolano came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Dominiczyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Kolano couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute, Dominik Siedlecki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dominik Siedlecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Rafal Brytka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fabjanki SSA's goalkeeper Marek Walaszkiewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Dominiczyn's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Witalis Nuszkowski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 75 minutes in the game, Witalis Nuszkowski dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Dominiczyn's Adam Wielgopolski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Dominiczyn from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fabjanki SSA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
